Boeing and China-based Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co Ltd (Gameco) have signed an MRO services agreement to work together on the provision of MRO support in the Asia-Pacific region.

Established in October 1989, Gameco is an independent MRO provider (and a joint venture between China Southern Airlines Co Ltd, South China International Aircraft Engineering Co Ltd and Hutchison Aircraft Maintenance Investment Ltd).

It offers aircraft, landing gear, thrust reverser and component services, AOG support, painting and engineering services.

Through this agreement, Boeing will provide MRO maintenance training plus access to maintenance data and technical support, while Gameco commits to maintaining Boeing’s rigorous quality standards for MRO services.
