Goudsmit UK makes four million componentsBelfast-based Goudsmit UK, a sub-contract component manufacturer, has announced that it has increased its turnover by 50%.

Quality manager Alan McKee said: “Over the last 24 months, we have delivered in excess of four million components and assemblies to our diverse range of customers.

“This is a fantastic achievement, given that our customer base spans many industries and each customer has their own specific quality requirements.”

The company has a track record of supplying high-quality engineered components to the aerospace, automotive, medical, oil and gas and general manufacturing industries.

Since 1998, the team at Goudsmit UK has offered a full range of services to take customers’ ideas from the drawing board to the production floor. Custom components are also made in its joint-venture manufacturing facility in China.

Sales engineer Michael Lyness said (www.goudsmit.co.uk): “Goudsmit has a number of manufacturing facilities located around the globe, allowing us to service our customers no matter where they are located.

“Many customers are keen to explore the low-cost options available in Asia, but without a presence there, it can be a costly and somewhat daunting experience.

"Our joint-venture facilities in Ningbo enable our customers to manufacture in China without having to go to China, saving them the expense and resources involved, and allowing them to continue their primary business activities.”
