The company saw its sales in Germany and France — its two biggest export markets — grow by over 10% in 2018, so it is also investing in two additional ‘state of the art’ CNC bending machines, automated welding machinery and another CNC lathe to boost its in-house production of parts that are currently exported to 35 countries world-wide.
Commercial director Mark Blinston said: “We’re proud to have invested in new warehouse space, which allows us to significantly ramp up our production levels in the UK. We’ve seen a huge increase in demand for our parts, particularly in the export sector, since last summer.
“In France for example, our second half-year sales grew by 35% compared to a year earlier, while our diesel particulate filters, catalytic converters and front pipes are now hugely popular in developing markets in Eastern Europe and further afield.”
As Europe’s largest independent manufacturer of high-quality DPFs, catalytic converters and front pipes, the company is recognised as a leading player in the after-market industry, with over 300 new parts developed yearly to add to its inventory of 40,000 components.
