Leeds-based MBA Engineering, a supplier of laser cutting and metal fabrication equipment, has launched a new transport business to offer a comprehensive machine-moving and installation service, following increased demand from manufacturers.
Headed by Shane Hudson, MBA Transport has a DAF CF 460 flat-bed truck that can carry up to 44,000kg with a trailer (

This is complemented by a Fassi 660 crane that can lift, remove and install both big and small machinery and equipment, including CNC mills, lathes, press brakes and water-jet cutting systems.
Bradley McBain, managing director of MBA Engineering, said: “Our mission is to always enhance the range of services and support we can offer our customers, in order to make the running of their businesses easier.
"This commitment to our clients, along with our considerable recent growth, has led to us establishing MBA Transport.
“The team’s experience in moving machinery of all shapes and sizes is second to none.
"Whether you need equipment moving a few yards or require a full factory relocation, we will provide a ‘one-stop’ machinery-moving solution, alongside unrivalled levels of service.”
