TW Ward CNC Machinery Ltd (Ward CNC —
www.wardcnc.com) has strengthened its service and technical capabilities with the launch of a dedicated customer technical support team.
The Sheffield-based company has added to its team of 16 service engineers and three applications engineers with the internal promotion of Jason Kahler to the new position of technical support engineer.
Mr Kahler has been with Ward CNC for over 32 years. He started as a mechanical engineering apprentice and has since undertaken various roles at the company, including most recently 18 years as a senior engineering technician.
His primary responsibility in his new role will be to provide technical support to customers and colleagues.
Mario De Vito, Ward CNC’s head of technical engineering, said: “Jason is the first appointment to the new technical support team.
“The next phase will be to appoint an additional technical support engineer with a strong electrical background, to supplement Jason’s vast mechanical expertise.”
