On 18 July, Schunk Intec Ltd (

This presents “an ideal opportunity for manufacturers specialising in the aerospace sector to see best-practice five-axis work-holding and machining via both presentations and practical shopfloor demonstrations”.
Part of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), the KTC is a world-leading establishment for high-value manufacturing events and is “an ideal setting” for the two companies to present their latest aerospace innovations.
The event will open be open to visitors from 9.30am, and there will be introductory presentations by both Schunk and Walter.
Next will be a presentation on Schunk’s latest VERO-S Aviation modular clamping system for aerospace structural components.
Following the presentations and lunch, visitors will transfer to the ‘Factory of the Future’ machine shop, where the VERO-S Aviation will be demonstrated in conjunction with AMRC machine tools and Walter cutting tools.
