Advanced Engineering, the UK’s largest annual exhibition for manufacturers and supply-chain professionals, is on the look-out for start-ups to showcase their inventions; the show’s Enabling Innovation Zone will support ‘smaller enterprises’ that want to “accelerate their innovations into the advanced manufacturing and technology industries”.
Supported by Innovate UK/ Knowledge Transfer Network, Advanced Engineering is searching for ‘growing businesses’ to exhibit their ‘disruptive technologies’ and inventions.
Start-ups in all engineering sectors — including aerospace, automotive, marine, medical and automation — are being encouraged to apply.
The show organisers say that the successful applicants will have the opportunity to showcase their inventions to thousands of key industry players from leading companies who will be visiting the zone.
Jeremy Whittingham, head of marketing at Advanced Engineering, said: “Following the success of the previous Enabling Innovation showcases, this dedicated zone will act as a springboard for new technologies.
“We are dedicating an entire area of the show to innovative businesses, and the impact the zone will have is bound to encourage the growth of even more innovations.”
