Coventry-based Advanced Grinding Solutions (AGS — www.advancedgrindingsolutions.co.uk), a supplier of high-precision grinding and finishing machines, will have members of staff present throughout the duration of EMO 2019, with 10 of its international machine manufacturing partners exhibiting.

Rollomatic (Hall 6, Stand J65) will be displaying a range of tool-grinding machines including its six-axis 830XW for manufacturing large-diameter cutting tools.

This has a unique combination of hydrostatic guides and linear motors, giving superior surface finishes on milling cutters and drills.

Also of interest will be the Rollomatic LaserSmart 501 machine for machining PCD, CVD, and natural-diamond tools.

Its machining speed is said to be up to four-times faster for processing multiple operations such as cutting-edge generation, chip-breakers and cylindrical lands in one operation.

The machine has four cameras inside it for complete and easy viewing of all laser operations.

Rollomatic will also debut its new NP50 machine for the grinding of cutting-tool blanks.

Tschudin (Hall 11, Stand B37) is exhibiting ‘the world’s smallest CNC centreless grinding machine’, and Bahmuller (Hall 11, Stand B43) will be exhibiting its range of internal and external grinding machines.

HandlingTech (Hall 27, Stand F24) is showing various loaders, including its advanced palletZ and ecoZ loaders — suitable for all types of machine tools.

Coating-machine specialist Platit (Hall 5, Stand E12 ) is exhibiting its flexible Pi 411 PLUS coating machine. This can produce the latest coating technologies, including ARC, sputtering, DLC, OXI and LACS (simultaneous ARC and sputtering).

Deburring-machine manufacturer Gerber (Hall 11, Stand G19) is showcasing three brushing machines for deburring components; it is also launching its new eco-innovation at the show.

Comat (Hall 7, Stand A07), which is a manufacturer of filtration systems (and is the latest addition to the AGS portfolio), will showcase the latest generation of its high-quality filtration systems for grinding and turning machines.
