
Halesowen-based Erodex (UK) Ltd
(www.erodex.com), which specialises in carbon and graphite, has formed a partnership with industry leader SGL Carbon and invested £750,000 in a bid to enter the high-temperature furnace market with its new Erodex HT product range.
It can now provide a complete design and manufacturing service to meet all furnace-charging needs for products such as fixtures, jigs or baskets. These can either be custom-designed for specific requirements or based on a cost-effective and robust modular design concept.
The company’s ‘one-stop’ solution also includes the quick-turn-round machining of graphite spares for any emergency breakdown or complete re-lines — carried out in its new facility at Darlaston, In addition, it holds extensive stocks of insulation products, CFC fixings and many other furnace consumable items.
