Lifting-equipment manufacturer Konecranes has opened a new training centre in Castle Donington with two purpose-designed training rooms, both of which can accommodate up to 16 people.
One of the rooms has audio-visual equipment, while the other is dedicated to more hands-on electrical training, with mobile workbenches and a variety of hoists. There is also a workshop training area that features the latest hoist and crane technology.
UK training manager Martin Wadeson said: “Right from the outset, it was our aim to create a training facility that would be the envy of the lifting-equipment industry. We are confident that this will, indeed, prove to be the case. The centre has the resources needed for effective training to be delivered across a broad spectrum of subject areas, and the specific training courses that we will be presenting will match this.”
