The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has chosen Young Enterprise as its official charity to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs. It wants to see more schools involved with local businesses and focusing on ‘enterprise education’ for their students.
Together, the FSB and Young Enterprise will help to make young people more aware of the business world and its contribution to the economy. Furthermore, the partnership aims to improve the employability skills of young people.
FSB chairman John Allan said: “By joining forces with Young Enterprise, we will contribute to their mission to inspire and equip young people to learn and succeed through enterprise. Through financial resources, volunteers, communications and projects, this relationship will help to take these incredible programmes into more schools up and down the country. Our members will benefit too; investing in young people and developing their employability skills and interest in entrepreneurship is in our interest.”
