The University of Wolverhampton has opened an office in Brussels that will focus on industrial research.
It is intended to “ensure that the university is at the centre of political decision making at the heart of the European Union”, as well as providing opportunities for collaborations with other European academic institutions and businesses with regard to research, knowledge transfer and skills development.
It will also allow the university to bid directly for EU funding to support new, innovative developments.
