Coventry-based RDM Group has recently won two contracts: one from the Ministry of Defence (to adapt vehicles with dedicated storage and firearms cabinets) and another from Mitsubishi UK (to customise police vehicles).

Now operating from a new advanced engineering centre on the Bilton Industrial Estate, RDM recently celebrated its 21st birthday and took on extra workers after receiving a grant from the Growing Places funding scheme.

Chairman David Keene said: “We have already recruited six new staff, and that could rise to 25 over the next two years if we secure more contracts. The Growing Places funding means that we are developing from an SME automotive supplier to a full Tier One supplier.”
