The three models in the GROB G series (G350, G550 and G750) of universal machining centres are characterised by optimal chip removal, courtesy of the horizontal-spindle arrangement and ‘part travelling’ axis (Hall 5 Stand 5969).
According to Solihull-based GROB Machine Tools UK Ltd (
www.grobgroup.com), this configuration gives the option to machine parts upside down and provides for the efficient heavy milling of even the most difficult-to-machine materials.
