Hyundai Motor is to manufacture heavy-duty trucks in China this year. The South Korean automotive group will produce its Trago cargo and dump trucks at a new manufacturing plant in Sichuan province; this will have the capacity to produce 160,000 vehicles per year. The company also announced that it expects to sell an extra 400,000 commercial vehicles by 2020 by expanding its production and introducing new vehicles in China, Turkey and the USA.
