Hot on the heels of a highly successful MACH show, XYZ Machine Tools (
www.xyzmachinetools.com) is hosting a 30th-anniversary Open House at its Burlescombe, Devon, headquarters on 1 and 2 May.
The event offers an opportunity for those that could not attend MACH 2014 at the NEC to see the full range of XYZ machines.
Managing director Nigel Atherton says: “We wanted to host this event as close as possible to the date that XYZ Machine Tools was formed. We are holding it on Thursday and Friday to allow visitors coming from further afield to take advantage of the Devon countryside and maybe make a weekend of their trip.
We will have a large number of machines available for demonstration in our newly refurbished showroom; visitors will also be able to see at first hand the large number of machines that we keep in stock, alongside our extensive store of spare parts for the 20,000 machines we have sold.”
The event starts at 8am both days; to help XYZ plan the catering, those wishing to attend should register via the company’s Web site.
The Sheffield-based tooling company WNT (UK) Ltd (
www.wnt.de/en-en) will be helping XYZ to celebrate its 30th anniversary; all the demonstration machines will be tooled with WNT products. The emphasis will be on increased productivity and cutting-tool performance.
