The Austrian subsidiary of Sweden’s Scania Group has won a 65 million euro government contract to supply 485 trucks over the next three years.
This covers winter-service trucks, refuse trucks and trucks equipped with cranes and dumper bodies.
Scania Österreich director Christian Teichmann said: “This business is of particular importance for us, as we met the complex technical specifications and offered a technical and business solution, including well-proven Euro 6 technology, for a variety of vehicle segments.”
