PPG Industries upgrade Mexican facility

Pittsburgh-based coatings specialist PPG Industries is to invest more that $27 million in its Mexican facility in San Juan del Rio, Queretaro.
The money will be used to add about 100,000 sq ft of production and laboratory space. PPG said that it expects the expansion to be completed by 2015 and result in an extra 115 jobs, which represents a 30% increase.
