Welsh engineering design company CCSL has received a £25,000 loan from UK Steel Enterprise (a subsidiary of Tata Steel) to support its expansion plan.
Managing director Emyr Hughes (pictured centre) said that this financial backing, along-side support from Business Wales, will help it to achieve its goal of doubling its £700,000 turnover.
The business, which sells 3-D design software used by engineering companies, also expects to increase its workforce from eight to 12 in the next three years.
Using the money from UK Steel Enterprise, CCSL has been able to open training facilities at its offices in Abercynon (Rhondda) and Sealand (Flint-shire), and to purchase new equipment.
Glyn Thomas (pictured right), of UK Steel Enterprise, said: “The firm is creating high-quality jobs in Wales and building expertise in the workforce. We wish them every success.”
