Marine companies in Cornwall can now apply for a share of a new £1.85 million fund to help with their expansion plans.
The Cornwall Marine Capital Fund has been created by the Cornwall Marine Network (CMN) after it received money from the Government’s Regional Growth Fund. Companies can bid for grants of £50,000 or more to buy new machinery or build new premises.
Paul Wickes (pictured centre), chief executive of CMN, said: “This is a rare opportunity for cash to be secured by companies that have a vision to expand and employ more staff. Our dedicated business-support advisor is available to help companies with their application process.”
