Alfatronix, a Poole-based manufacturer of electronic components, has taken on its first apprentices; 18-year-old Samuel Cliffe and 21-year-old James Hoskins will start in September.

Managing director Keith Reilly said: “We are delighted to have Samuel and James on board, and we are confident that they will be a positive addition to our team.

They have joined the company at a very important time, as we celebrate our 35th anniversary of manufacturing in Poole. It’s fitting that we should be looking to the engineers of the future, as we celebrate our anniversary milestone.”
