After considering moving part of its operation to Abu Dhabi, TBD (Owen Holland) Ltd — a major manufacturer of aerospace access equipment — decided to go ahead with its £2 million expansion in Bridgend, after being awarded a £7,000 grant from the Welsh Government.

The company, based at the Waterton Industrial Estate, currently employs 90 people and is expecting overseas sales to rise 30% in the next two years after attracting new clients including Saudi Arabian Airlines, Qatar Airways and Fly Dubai.
