Blue Diamond Machine Tools Ltd — based in Shildon, County Durham — has achieved BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification for its quality management systems in relation to “the supply, rebuild and refurbishment of new and used manual and CNC machine tools”.

All work is carried out in-house by Blue Diamond’s highly skilled workforce — including fitting the CNC system — and then delivered as a turn-key package.

Managing director Brian Burn says: “We have fitted most of the well-known controls, including Fanuc, Heidenhain, Fagor and Anilam. Supplying all-new electrical drawings allows us to give full traceability throughout the project.
