John Taylor Engineering, which supplies used Amada sheet-metal machinery, has bought a 14,000 sq ft facility in Congleton in addition to its current rented premises. Founded in 2003, it currently employs eight people and plans to create more jobs over the coming year.
The purchase has been supported by a six-figure funding package from Yorkshire Bank.
John Taylor, managing director and co-founder of the business, said: “As the firm continued to grow, we required a larger work-space to accommodate the increasing demand from the UK and abroad. We now have an improved site that provides a modern and spacious working environment for our growing team.”
Sean Williams, head of Yorkshire Bank’s business and private banking centre in Manchester, said: “We’re pleased to support JTE’s expansion plans, and we are confident that this investment will pave the way for further growth opportunities in the company’s specialist field — both in the UK and abroad.”
