Bromsgrove-based HME Technology, which manufactures design and technology equipment for schools and colleges, has won its first contract in Saudi Arabia.
This £140,000 order has come from the new World Academy, which is located in King Abdullah Economic City, near Jeddah.
HME director Martyn Hale said: “Breaking into Saudi Arabia is a major boost for our business, and this has been very much a team effort. We hope that, given the quality of our equipment and the strong reputation we have built up in educational circles, we can build on this and win more work there.”
The company plans to attend a major exhibition in Saudi Arabia in early November.
