Designed for the ‘calibrating and tolerance grinding’ of steel, stainless steel, titanium, molybdenum, Inconel and Hastelloy, as well as other difficult-to-process materials, the Timesavers 81 from Ellesco Ltd, Christchurch (
www.ellesco.co.uk), is available with table widths from 600mm to 2.6m and bed lengths from 1.5 to 6m.
Moreover, it can achieve full stock removal in one pass over the complete width of the machine bed, work to tolerances of ±0.01mm, and achieve surface finishes as fine as Ra0.2µm.
Contributing to achieving this level of performance on this wet-working machine are an endless abrasive belt, programmable control system, centralised lubrication, motorised table-opening adjustment and a high-powered vacuum bed that allows the end user to clamp most material types with confidence.
Also featured are removable spray nozzles for ease of maintenance, a quick-change clamping system that allows tool changes to be undertaken in seconds, and a paper filtration system that has been designed to simplify machine cleaning and the removal of grinding dust.
