Jaguar Land Rover has launched its 2015 apprenticeship recruitment campaign. The automotive company, which has been rated Top Employer for School and College Leavers (2014 -2015) by the All About School Leavers Internet group, will take on up to 200 new recruits next year; it currently has 620 apprentices working at its six UK sites.
The company offers a four-year Advanced Apprenticeship aimed at GCSE students and a six-year Higher Apprenticeship aimed at A-Level students.
JLR executive director Mike Wright said: “Our apprenticeships continue to attract the highest calibre of people, who are interested in combining paid employment with fully funded vocational qualifications.”
Lauren Quinn, a final-year Advanced Apprentice at the company’s Engine Manufacturing Centre, said: “I feel very proud to be working for Jaguar Land Rover; I have learned so much during my time with the company and at college. The ‘icing on the cake’ was being there when our brand-new facility was opened by the Queen recently.”
