With its UK sales in the second and third quarters double those in the same period of last year, and with the recent winning of an order to supply a machine a month to the tool-room of a major automotive group, Ajax International Machine Tools Ltd, Lymington (www.ajax-mach.co.uk), is heading for a record level of business in 2014.

Managing director William Savin said: “While our export machine tool sales have remained steady at around £1.5 million, our new ‘Made in UK’ machine introductions are boosting sales, leading us to employ an additional two engineers. These appointments have increased our technical capability and are helping us to develop more new machines.”
