Voith Industrial Services has won its second contract with Jaguar Land Rover in as many weeks. Towards the end of last month, the Warwick-based company sealed a facilities management deal with JLR’s new Engine Manufacturing Centre, near Wolverhampton.
Now, Voith has received an order to manage a range of services at JLR’s manufacturing plants at Solihull, Castle Bromwich and Halewood.
Phil Spencer, Voith’s sales and business development director, said: “We have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with JLR and are obviously delighted that it will continue in the future. The recent expansion of JLR into new markets, and their introduction of new models, makes them a strategically important customer, and we hope we can build on this success over the coming years.”
German-owned Voith provides technical services in paint shops in 80 car plants world-wide.
In the UK, it employs around 2,400 people.
