Anneliese Dodds, an MEP for the South East of England, recently visited Lohmann Technologies (UK), a specialist adhesives manufacturer and converter that is based in Milton Keynes and serves the automotive, electrical and construction sectors.

The company, which employs 39 people, is part of a German- owned group that has operated in the UK since 1992. Miss Dodds was shown around the factory by managing director Roger Churchill and Jim Davison, South East Region director at the EEF.

She said: “I was really pleased to be able to talk to employees of Lohmann and have a tour of their facilities. International firms like Lohmann play a critical part in the community, providing much-needed jobs and growth.

"We need to do more to make sure that the UK is an attractive place for manufacturing, so that more home-grown and global companies put down strong roots in the South East. Milton Keynes is a great place to do business.”
