Elekem, a specialist polymer processing and engineering company based in Haslingden, Lancashire, has been acquired by Ensinger, a manufacturer of engineering plastics and plastic components that has its headquarters in Rhondda Cynon Taf in South Wales.
The latter has nine sites across the UK and is part of the Ensinger group, which employs more than 2,100 people.
