Burlescombe-based XYZ Machine Tools (www.xyzmachinetools.com) came away from the Autosport Engineering show with some excellent inquiries — and an award for the best-designed stand at the exhibition.

XYZ exhibited a cross-section of its mill, lathe, machining centre and turning centre ranges as well as its innovative XYZ 2-OP portable vertical machining centre.

Martin Burton, XYZ Machine Tools’ national sales manager, said: “Bringing the new XYZ 2-OP to the show proved a great move as it generated a lot of interest.

“Our machines target prototype and low-volume manufacturing, which perfectly fits auto-sport customer profiles.”
