Taunton-based Vapormatt (www.vapormatt.com), which specialises in wet blasting for surface and edge preparation in tooling applications, reports that one of its Sabre wet-blasting machines has been installed at Ionbond’s demonstration centre in Switzerland.

As a provider of hard, wear-resistant and low-friction coatings, Ionbond offers PVD, CVD and PACVD services and equipment world-wide. CEO Joe Haggerty says: “Wet blasting is the preferred option for deburring and surface finishing for coating specialists.
