Aston-based KB Extruders (
www.kbextruders.co.uk), which makes premium-quality refuse sacks from industrial and packaging waste, has purchased a new waste-recycling machine with support from Lloyds Bank and the Regional Growth Fund (RGF).
The company currently employs 30 people; as a result of this investment, it intends to take on up to 25 more people over the next 12 months.
Director Ali Ahmed said: “After investing in this new machine, we have the capacity to double in size to meet the demand of a growing customer base. We hope to increase our turnover from £4.5 million to £15 million in the next five years.”
