Precision measuring equipment company
Mitutoyo (UK) Ltd (www.mitutoyo.co.uk) will be exhibiting a wide range of measuring solutions on
stand L86 at the
Southern Manufacuring Show.
In addition to showing a variety of hand tools, such as micrometers, calipers and height gauges, Mitutoyo staff will be demonstrating the Ko-Ga-Me measuring system — a miniature 3-D CMM that can be mounted on any rigid frame, including machine tools, to provide a CMM capability without the space requirements of a full-size machine.
The Ko-Ga-Me also allows in-process measurement without involving component set-ups or breakdowns. Mitutoyo will also be demonstrating its Quick Image, a 2-D vision-based manual measuring system that features double tele-centric fixed-magnification optics with a long focal length and ‘deep focal depth’.
The instrument’s quadrant ring lighting and ‘mega-pixel’ colour CCD camera provide efficient cost-effective measurement in the inspection room or laboratory. The company’s popular SVC-3200 will also be demonstrated.
This high-accuracy instrument allows the efficient measurement of surface roughness, as well as form and contour.
Furthermore, free copies of Mitutoyo’s 2017 catalogue will be available.
