On Monday 9 April, coinciding with the opening of MACH 2018 at the NEC, 600 UK announced that the company had been re-branded as Colchester Machine Tool Solutions, saying that “Colchester is a strong brand that is recognised globally, which provides more opportunity to grow our business and reputation for providing high-quality machine tool solutions and services”.

Colchester Machine Tool Solutions will continue to promote the existing branded product portfolio of: Colchester/Harrison (manual lathes, CNC combination lathes and slant-bed CNC turning centres); Clausing (workshop machine tools and MillPWR CNC mills); Pratt Burnerd International (work-holding solutions); and Gamet Bearings (precision machine tool bearings).

At MACH 2018, Colchester Machine Tool Solutions exhibited a number of new products.

These included a brand-new range of Typhoon CNC turning centres (the next generation of turning centres from the Colchester Tornado range), and the company’s Industry 4.0 technology.

The company will now be updating all the branding on its products, services, stationery and on-line platforms to incorporate these changes.
