SP Technology (www.sptechnology.co.uk), a Dundee-based company that has been supplying bespoke automated solutions to a wide range of industries for more than 30 years, was named Manufacturer of the Year at last month’s Made in Scotland Awards, which celebrate innovation and other important developments.

Managing director Roy Henderson said: “To be recognised in this way is very special for us, reflecting how we work together to manufacture the best solutions for our customers.

"A number of our team members attended the awards ceremony, and it is a privilege to be recognised alongside other proud Scottish companies.”

Technical director Lee Nixon said: “I am proud to lead our innovative engineers, whose specialist skill and knowledge provide solutions for our customers around the UK.

“Having been named Manufacturer of the Year in Scotland, we progress to the Made in Britain Awards in June — in Liverpool.”
