Trumpf says there will be “something to inspire manufacturing companies of every size and level, particularly those with an interest in automation” at the Open House event being held 12-14 June at its Luton headquarters.
“This event will provide the opportunity for manufacturers to find out more about Trumpf’s full range of sheet metal-working products, and how TruConnect can provide a wide range of modular solutions as a step-by-step implementation towards their Smart factory”.
The machines on show will include: a TruLaser 2030 4kW BrightLine Fiber (a compact entry-level laser cutting machine that offers modular automation solutions); a TruLaser 3030 6kW BrightLine Fiber featuring LiftMaster Compact and PartMaster automation; and a TruLaser 5030 8kW BrightLine Fiber with performance-enhancing high-speed Eco technology, which doubles sheet through-put (compared to standard cutting) while reducing the average nitrogen gas consumption by 70%.
Also being demonstrated will be a TruPunch 5000 with SheetMaster automation. This machine can punch at up to 1,600 strokes per min and mark parts at 2,800 strokes per min, while the SheetMaster undertakes loading, unloading, stacking and sorting. Also on show will be press brakes and a range of power tools.
