Denbighshire-based Laser Micromachining Ltd (LML) supplies contract manufacturing services to industry, specialising in the rapid and cost-effective production of micro-products — in volumes ranging from one-off parts to millions.

Measurement is a key part of the process, and LML often provides its metrology data to customers for incorporation into their quality control records.

The company’s measurement equipment includes a Swift Duo microscope purchased from Optimax Imaging Inspection and Measurement Ltd (www.optimaxonline.com).

This is calibrated to UKAS standard, which provides a certified validation for the measurements made on the system.

LML offers a fast-turnround service, and this is only made possible by having all the necessary laser and metrology equipment available on-site and fully calibrated.
