MACH 2018 saw Peterborough-based Measurement Solutions (www.measurement-solutions.co.uk) sell several Metrascan 3-D inspection systems — as well as a host of other 3-D scanning, measurement and inspection equipment — with four Metrascan units being sold to major UK automotive OEMs and a Formula One team.

Area sales manager Deryck Lamb said this advanced inspection equipment is not exclusive to high-end OEMs and F1 teams: “We sold a Metrascan 3-D inspection system and a Handyprobe portable CMM to Stevenage Sheet Metal, a sub-contract automotive sheet metal manufacturer.

“The six-figure order was placed on the fourth day of the show.”
