MBA Engineering drives growthYorkshire-based MBA Engineering (www.mba-eng.co.uk), a supplier of machinery and consumables for metal fabrication (and the exclusive supplier of Kimla fibre laser systems in the UK), has appointed two new team members to help drive the business forward, as it looks to increase its turnover by 100% over the next 12 months.

Shane Hudson has joined the team with more than 12 years’ experience in the engineering sector, specialising in machinery moves and installations.

His role at MBA will involve heading up the company’s machine moves department, using his knowledge and expertise to boost its ‘one-stop shop’ machine-moving solution.

Meanwhile, Mick Hudson has joined the business with more than 23 years’ experience in the engineering sector and will take on the role of senior engineer.

He will be responsible for mentoring MBA’s engineers in order to assist with their development and advance their skill sets. He will also be key in bringing more engineers on board to further strengthen the company’s capabilities.

Managing director Bradley McBain said: “With their varied and extensive skill sets, both Shane and Mick will be invaluable in helping us become the ‘go-to’ source for industry-leading laser cutting equipment, while offering some of the best customer service in the industry.

“We have experienced unprecedented growth at MBA Engineering over the last 12 months, and these new appointments demonstrate our commitment to continuing to bring some of the most advanced laser cutting solutions to the UK market.”
