Yorkshire-based MBA Engineering (www.mba-eng.co.uk), a leading supplier of laser cutting and metal fabrication equipment, has undergone a period of rapid growth during the past year, on the back of strong machinery sales.

The fibre laser specialist has reported a turnover of £1.4 million, an increase of 94% compared to the previous year.

This unprecedented growth is partly thanks to its exclusive partnership with Kimla, the Polish manufacturer of fibre laser machines.

MBA Engineering recently replaced two CO2 machines with one Kimla fibre laser at Cook Compression, a Cheshire-based compressor solutions supplier — an investment that saw Cook’s capacity increase by 30%.

Following this, the company supplied an additional Kimla machine to OVH, a French server manufacturer, after the company experienced unprecedented results with its original Kimla machine.
