The USA’s largest manufacturing show, IMTS 2018, will occupy more than 1.3 million ft² of exhibition space inside Chicago’s McCormick Place from 10-15 September 2018 (www.imts.com).

In addition to displays and demonstrations by more than 2,400 exhibitors, there will be hundreds of conference sessions and technology presentations. To maximise visitors’ time and experience, IMTS will group technologies together into 10 pavilions spread throughout the four buildings of McCormick Place.

They will cover all areas of manufacturing, including abrasive machining/sawing/finishing; additive manufacturing; controls and CAD/CAM; EDM; fabricating and lasers; gear generation; machine components/cleaning/environmental; metal cutting; quality assurance; and tooling and work-holding systems.

Co-locating the first-ever Hannover Messe USA with IMTS 2018 this year increases the show’s emphasis on automation, robotics and Industry 4.0, with about 550 additional exhibitors occupying 130,000ft² of floor space.

Hannover Messe USA features a Digital Factory area and exhibitors that focus on industrial surface treatment and finishing, compressed air and vacuum systems, and industrial sub-contracting and lightweight construction.

To present a complete spectrum of technology for industrial automation, IT, power transmission and fluid-power technology, Hannover Messe USA will also feature a new show called Integration, Automation & Drives USA.
