Tamworth-based Theorem Solutions (
www.theorem.com) says that the latest release (20.3) of Visualize 3-D means that data from PTC’s Creo View can now be created and shared independently of Catia V5.
Theorem’s Catia V5i to Creo View solution allows Catia users to create and share Creo View data without needing access to a Catia V5 licence.
Licences of vendor-specific CAD applications can be costly to purchase and maintain.
The Catia V5i to Creo View product is a solution for Catia V5 users who have to supply native 3-D mechanical design data in the ‘lightweight’ Creo View format to customers and suppliers, when limited resources are available.
The software has been developed using the Spatial (Dassault) Interop Development Environment and supports all Catia V5 revisions up to and including V5-6R2017, and up to Creo View 4.1.
Theorem’s strategic partnership with Spatial (Dassault) and PTC ensures that there isa parallel development between the latest releases of Catia V5 and Creo View, and Theorem’s Visualize 3D products.
