Eccles-based Fletchers Engineering Ltd (
www.fletchersengineering.co.uk) has been appointed by Morrisons Utility Services to provide stainless-steel pipework, steelwork and prefabricated services for a new battery storage facility being built for Centrica in Roosecote (Barrow-in-Furness).
In addition, the company is providing steelworks, access platforms and cooling systems for two large data centres in the South of England, and it is upgrading the heating system of Victoria Building at Media City in Salford for Peel.
Finally, it has signed a three-year contract to manage the maintenance of all northern David Lloyd leisure centres.

“To help manage the additional work, we have acquired an 18,000ft
2 warehouse close to our current base.
“We will be looking to expand our 140-strong team and add a new fleet of vehicles in the coming months.”
