EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation, has launched a new training course that will re-train and up-skill employees in the knowledge and practical skills involved with robotic and automation engineering (leading to an EAL Level 3 Certificate in Robotics and Automation).
The EEF

The EEF course lasts eight weeks and includes: mechanical and electrical maintenance of automation; robot processes and functions; automated control systems; machine software design; robot programming; and simulation
engineering.
The course is aimed at employees with existing knowledge of manufacturing, those who wish to learn about robotics and automation engineering, and technicians and engineers who wish to enhance their skills.
It takes place at EEF’s Advanced Technology Training Centre in Birmingham.
