Carfulan announces technology extravaganzaDerbyshire-based Carfulan Group is throwing open the doors of its headquarters in December for a Manufacturing Performance Network event and is inviting visitors to see live demonstrations of its cutting-edge technologies.

Among them will be an XJet machine that uses ground-breaking NanoParticle Jetting (NPJ) technology to 3-D print
geometrically complex ceramic and metal components quickly — and with unmatched quality.

It will be the first time this machine has been on display in the UK, since XJ3D — the Carfulan Group’s newest company — became a partner of Israel-based Xjet.

Consisting of OGP UK, SYS Systems, Zoller UK, Vicivision UK and XJ3D, the Carfulan Group’s unique business model allows it to work with leading UK manufacturers in multi-sensor metrology, turned-part measurement, additive manufacturing and tool pre-setting and inspection.

Group managing director Chris Fulton (pictured) said: “Our passion is supplying innovative solutions at every stage of the production process, whether that be 3-D printing for design and prototyping, tool inspection and pre-setting prior to machining or advanced metrology for top-class quality control.

"In many cases, customers use several of our technologies to ensure that they are turning out the best products they possibly can in the most efficient way.”

The group’s Manufacturing Performance Network event will take place 4-6 December at its Innovation Centre in Foston, near Derby.
