Dundee-based ATL Turbine Services, a turbine component repair company, has posted a strong set of results for the financial year ending June 2018.
Its sales grew to £6.5 million — up by more than 30% on the previous year — and the company saw a seven-fold increase
in its pre-tax profits to over £1 million.
CEO Dale Harris said (
www.atlturbineservices.co.uk): “ATL continues to deliver sustainable growth and a robust financial performance.
“Over the last 12 months, we quadrupled our international sales, recruited technicians, engineers and support staff and invested in new process equipment.
“I’m particularly pleased that we have just added another three trainees to our team, giving more young people a start.”
ATL was last year selected for Sharing in Growth (SiG), the Government-backed competitiveness improvement programme which has been instrumental in helping it to generate efficiency gains and is set to continue for another three years.
The company has secured more than £7 million in contracts thanks to the support of SiG and is currently planning a number of significant investments.
Established in the early 1980s, ATL is a ‘one-stop shop’ turbine-component repair facility, dealing in both aero and light industrial turbines.
It can refurbish parts so that they have the same integrity and durability as new parts.
