As a leading supplier of deburring, polishing and finishing machines to customers in the UK and Eire, Dorset-based Ellesco is opening the doors of its Christchurch facility for a week-long Open House event.

Starting on 25 February, this mini-exhibition will focus on the Timesavers range of machines, and visitors are welcome to bring along components to see how Ellesco can process them, whether they need basic surface graining, edge breaking or radiusing.

Vincent Simonis, Ellesco’s managing director (www.ellesco.co.uk), said: “This event will be a showcase of the ultimate in surface finishing, covering every aspect from deburring,surface finishing and precision grinding through to heavy slag and laser oxide removal.

"The Timesavers machines on show highlight the fact that just about anything is possible, and we are happy for customers to bring along sample parts and challenge our team to deliver the end result they are looking for in terms of surface finish and edge preparation.”

The Timesavers machines that will be shown under power cover everything from manual through to fully automated processes and include: a 10-series manual abrasive disc and cup brush machine, a 12-600-W entry-level abrasive-belt machine, a 22-1100-WMdMd belt plus cup brush machine, a 32-1100-WRb belt plus rotary-brush machine and the company’s flagship 42-1350-WRb belt plus rotary-brush machine.

In addition, Ellesco will demonstrate the capabilities of a wide range of consumable materials — from deburring plastic-coated aluminium sheet through to removing laser oxide from cut edges.

Ellesco’s team of experienced sales and applications engineers will be supported by representatives from the Timesavers factory, so with the event running for a full week, there will be plenty of time and expertise on hand to discuss specific applications in detail.
