Cambridge-based Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions (
www.zeiss.com) has extended its range of digital solutions by launching the Zeiss Metrology Portal.
All the company’s services are now connected on the customer portal, enabling users to access the entire range of Zeiss digital services with just a single log-in (portal.zeiss.com).
Fabian Peschel, digital product owner for the Zeiss Metrology Portal, said: “The goal of the customer platform is to offer our customers outstanding services and solutions, including continuous 24/7 availability, easy operation and automated processes.”
There will also be a new customer forum, where users can sign up for topic-specific updates and send private messages — as well as submit maintenance and service requests on-line.
With a new customised configuration, customers can also opt to receive a message when new software is available.
Zeiss plans to develop the platform further in the future, by adding new features such as access to on-line training and system-relevant documents.
